Dr. Shlomit Yehudai-Reshef
Dr. Shlomit Yehudai-Reshef was born in Kibbutz Ma’ale Hachamisha. She completed her PhD in Biology in 2003 at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Dr. Yehudai-Reshef pursued her postdoctoral research from 2003- 2006 at Cornell university, NY, USA.
In October 2012, she joined the Hematology Research Center at Rambam Health Care Campus and established the Leukemia research laboratory, located in the Clinical Research Institute at Rambam (CRIR), Haifa, Israel. She has been a member of the CRIR since 2016. In 2018 she was appointed CRIR director.
Dr. Yehudai-Reshef research is characterized by multidisciplinary approaches. Her broad set of expertise, skills and knowledge, all contribute to an innovative and creative research. She is involved in many inventions and medical developments.
In 2015 Dr. Yehudai-Reshef was established Gina-Life diagnostics. As the company founder she was decisive and stubborn to carry out her invention and see it developed for women lifesaving.
Dr. Yehudai-Reshef is an avid believer in the synergism of collaboration between physicians and scientists and she is passionate about translational research.
Her academic and professional awards include: The Miriam and Aaron Gutwirth memorial fellowship, The BARD Postdoctoral Fellowship, The Zeff fellowship trust, Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Lady Tata Memorial Trust: International Award for Innovative Research in Leukemia.
Dr. Yehudai-Reshef is married to Yoav and has three children.
